DMZ volume 3 “Public Works” contains issues 13 to 17.
Having already been manipulated by both sides of the civil war, journalist Matty gets mixed-up up with a terrorist cell network combating the U.N. approved private sector security force, who are attempting to control and bring order, in order to rebuild Manhattan.
This is a solid, consistent volume, Wood’s writing continues to be excellent and Burchielli’s art flawless.
I’m enjoying the series, but am glad to have waited to read it as a series of trade paperbacks, as I think the comic would be less coherent and less effective if read in single monthly installments.
7.5 out of 10.
