Planet of the Capes is a one-shot graphic novel published by AIT/Planet Lar in 2004.
A satirical look at a super-hero team (a parody of some well-known characters of the DC universe) in an alternate reality USA.
It’s an entertaining read. The highlight of the book is the flashback sequence, it which everything is turned on its head, being in full color, while the rest of the “normal” comic is in black & white.
It’s not for everyone. It’s hardly value for money at the original price of $12.95, but I managed to buy this via eBay for only a couple dollars a couple years ago, so I don’t feel so bad!
