I’m back home, after a week away, traveling to Queensland to visit my parents on the Gold Coast, with my father recovering from heart bypass surgery.
My weekend with my family coincided with the Supanova convention in Brisbane, and I attended, listening to the Q&A of guests Michael Winslow (very loud), James Kyson Lee (very excited), Lou Ferrigno (very honest) and Jewel Staite (somewhat intoxicated!).
I didn’t make too many purchases, just buying a few DVDs, and a sketch sample book by local Brisbane comic book artist Wayne Nichols, who has recently been published by Dark Horse with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and Giant-Size Incredible Hulk and Exiles: Days of Then and Now by Marvel Comics.
