The first 2 issues feature Namor, before #122 brilliantly re-telling Iron Man’s origin story.
All the while the subplot of Tony Stark’s alcoholism is sprinkled throughout, until stunning events lead towards his total breakdown by the finale of the book.
Written in 1979, this is as fresh and exciting to read nearly thirty years later, aside from some contemporary references and fashion.
